The communal tables were cut from a single chestnut tree felled in the courtyard in 1923. You can still see the knot at bench seven.

Three mustards, made weekly. Grobkörnig with Bavarian beer, mild with honey from the Englischer Garten apiary, sharp with horseradish from Franken.

Die Stille

Between 3 and half past five, the kitchen breathes. The afternoon regulars come for the silence as much as the Weißbier.
